Default srs light always on?

well, since no one is replying to my other thread anymore, i decided to create a new one asking a diff question. the state ref turned me away for unplugging my srs light (what you guys recommended to do). they were not stupid, they knew i unplugged it so now i have to make my srs light go on for some odd number of seconds and then go off. one person told me to wire the positive wire from my CEL light to my SRS light so that it will go on together and then go off when i turn my key. so how would i go about doing this? explain it to me as if im a newbert. i need to know which color wire from the SRS light i need to cut and what wire to splice into for my CEL light. tia

when you take your cluster out, you just need to follow the copper bars to the CEL light, and find out what wire it is... then splice them... OR you can use ALLDATA to find the wiring schematics... thats bullshit about the SRS light.

the "copper bars" is the circut on the back of the cluster. just follow it to the harness plug it attaches to, then splice that wire into the SRS light wire.

okay, so there should be a "copper bar(s)" that is behind the CEL bulb which the yellow harness plugs into.

I thought about this and i wouldnt wire it up to your CEL because the CEL light goes out before the SRS light, the srs light stays on for a little longer. I cant really think of what you could hook it up to to have the right timing done to it.

You could do the CEL idea but if the ref's are being ****** then they might think thats what it is and screw you over with it. If that happens go to another ref because thats bullshit.
