ive been searching for a wheel boot and this seems to be pretty popular. does anyone have any feedback on this? it retails for about 110.00$ its pretty small, supposedly takes seconds to install and weighs around 8 pounds.

has anyone had their car stolen with this on? i stumbled on an old thread from march about some two ITRs being watched in the nj area, but they had these on them, however reading the thread further said that one of them got stolen already. any info?

 

the alpha lock in conjunction with other layers of security will slow the novice.

you'll see once you get it in hand. very poorly made. also uses a key cylinder which can be easily heated and pried off...

done and tested by myself...

 

the cyclinder bolt on the inside of mine cracked off so when i would seperate it to put it on or take it off, the lock cyclinder would be able to be pulled out of the metal, with or without the key.

thanks... like i said i have tested these... very poorly constructed.. but you can only tell once you get them in your hand and upclose... the ads on them look nice and clean. but they are junk... it is comparable to the early model club.

 

thanks for the info guys, i guess screw the alphalock. anything better for not too much more money?
