2000 civic si wheel stud!
anyone here have any suggestions on removing a front wheel stud on a 2000 civic si?
one of them broke while i was taking my rims off? Do I need to replace the whole front wheel hub or should I be able to just order 1 wheel stud and do this myself? any thoughts appreciated!

tap it out, and buy another stud.. some shops like Midas will do it too. You don't have to replace the whole hub, and you can drive on 3 lugs to get it fixed..

the front studs will not just pop out on 6th gen civics, contrary to popular belief.
even if you cut the broken one and slip it out, you will not get a new one in, even if you shave the head. you will have to have the hub pressed out to do it, unless you luck out like i did and find someone with knuckles for sale. i have yet to hear of someone able replace the studs on the front of a 6th gen civic without doing what i just said. PLEASE correct me if i'm wrong. this does not apply to other generations.

yeah, putting in a new one is a pain in the ***. After about 5 hours sitting on the floor w/a dremel I gave up and took it to midas. Took them a while (they were busy at the time) but it was a lot less stressful
