finished my first 12 hour endurace race sat
623 miles. 11.5 hours (more hours racing than sleeping in the last 3 days). miserable conditions. no auxilary lighting, but man it was fun. i was very happy with my 2 other drivers and crew and even managed to get on TV. cant beat that. also if the owner of the green EG frequents this board, it was a pleasure to pit next to you. i didnt think it possible for 3 teams with 5 cars to share such a small spot. thanks. for those of you considering running endurance races, it is a lot less stressful than a sprint race and to my surprise, a good percentage of cars finished. most drivers are very careful out there because the race is so long and honestly, the person lapping the fastest is not necessarily the one on the podium. the only people duking it out were doing it for fun not for position... just for laughs and to prove a point i even drove the car to work today. just for a shameless plug, my pads and rotors came from fastbrakes. you guys might know why to buy brake upgrades from FB, but i purchase my stock sized rotors and pads from FB because they show up on time, everytime. i cant tell you how important that is
