Honda factory LSD question...

Do the factory helical LSDs in some honda transmissions use the same ring gear as the more common "open" style differentials?

all aftermarket LSD companies conform to the OEM ring gear offset and bolt pattern, i.e. either the ITR/GSR pattern or the B16a/LS pattern as those are not interchangeable.
