ok, nvm. its now between:

spoon balanced ITR pistons
OEM CTR .25mm pistons

Well, your talking about two different setups here. You'll have to bore the motor for the .25mm over CTRs and the only thing about the spoon pistons is that they weigh the same. The question you should ask first is what your goal for this build is: Turbo, Supercharged or NA. The ctrs will be a good na piston, but the compression will be too high for TC or SC. there are too many variables to include when deciding what slugs to use. Talk to EARL, search his name and ask where you should start with your build... it really doesn't seem like you know where you want to go for the final product. Boost or Not, that is your question.

CTR's will yield over 12.:1 in a gsr motor. the JDM ITR's will be about 11.4ish. CTR's might run a little hot, as they are cast, at that compression. i know the p72 has oil jets, but over 12:1 c/r w/ cast pistons seems a little dangerous to me. i'd say go w/ the ITR's to be on the safe side.
