What are some really aggresive cams?
I just bought a 2000 si and i would like to find some really aggresive cams so i can really hear the vtec well and i was woundering if anyone could let me know who makes some really good cams and where i can find them! thanks a lot
get toda C cams thats pretty agressive lol, make sure that you also upgrad the entire valve train like springs and retainers they cant handle that lift/duration
get yourself some new exaust and you'll be able to hear it
, oh there is a downfall to doing this, more performance
, good luck with making you VTEC louder

i have never heard of someone wanting to hear vtec. but if u go for some "really aggressive" cams then your gonna have to upgrade alot of other ****. and yes your motor may sound different but that little 1.6 is not gonna be too much faster. all the money you spend you could have just as easily pieced a turbo kit together and doubled your hp.

lol how the hell can you not hear your VTEC with a B16? if you want to just hear your VTEC then just take off the intake box exposing the filter and that should do the trick.

my vtec hits very hard ( 4800)with ctr cams and tuning on my high comp. b20z block (12.5:1) exhaust and head work with rc 440 cc injector's. and oh yeah my v-afc.

id suggest Skunk2 or Toda, pretty much anything with under 300 degrees of duration would be fine for the street, any cams over say 300 degrees would be really really aggressive...just remember that the more aggressive cams require higher compression and a better valve train set up
If you're looking for a louder Vtec, do not go with Toda as people are suggesting. The primarys are huge, and when tuned, you shouldn't hear any type of Vtec crossover at all, in fact the motor will sound similar to a built LS.
If you're just looking increase the sound from the crossover, try a CAI, or a VAFC with a late crossover adjusted (hopefully you compensate with fuel adjustments as well) to get a loud "kick."
