Default Buying a lude

Ive been into street racing for a good time now. Watch my friend race his integra and ive finally raised enough money to buy a car for about 6's and put 4 into upgrading it. I saw a lude local to me.

Specs - 1996 Honda Prelude
Mileage 110,000
5 SPD MANUAL
Power sun/moon roof, Power Steering, 4 wheel standard Anti-lock Brakes, 138 Cubic Inch Displacement, Dual front air bags/active belts, Front Wheel Drive, Power Windows, 4 Cylinders, 5 speed manual Transmission, AM/FM Cassette, Tilt Wheel, Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, 15 inch Rim Size.

All for about 5.9
Ive checked the cars maintenance records and everything seemed fine and on time. Im going to have a mechanic look at it. But my main question is once i buy it what would the 1st thing you guys would recommend i do to it.

cai/h/e first (just the basics) then start on your suspension. If your racing style is similar to autox, I would suggest a set of Koni Yellows with ground controls. Throw on some strut bars front and back to stiffen up the cornering a little and you've got yourself a good start. What do you want out of your ride though? Power, handling, looks, all this plays part into what mods you should consider.

I live in Columbia.

I've seen that place trying to sell that car for quite some time now. Check it out carefully. Not sure why the car hasn't sold.

Good luck with it.
