Default leaving S2Kdom

I traded my S in for a 2004 Dodge Ram Hemi. Needed the towing capacity as I am in the process of buying a boat, hated to see the S go, but I had a lot of great times in the car...plus the truck will run low 15's which isn't too shabby...for a 4500lb vehicle. Hopefully when I can afford to have two vehicles I can get another S (this time modded out for track use).

You need to get a Hemi in that next S2k, so when you smoke the $#!T out of somebody, towing the S to the track, you can roll down the window and say, "did you mean the S? Because that's got a Hemi, too."

take a comptech supercharged F20 over a hemi in the S anyday.

A hemi would wreck the balance.

There comes a time in every man's life when they deserve to get kicked in the *****. This my friend, is your time. Spread your legs and own up to your mistake, and may god have mercy on your soul.

Congrats on the truck. They're slow, eat gas, handle like crap.. but when you gotta tow something you just don't have a choice

Sucks for you. Boats get boring after a year and I'm sure you'll spend 99% of the time in truck not towing. Sad sad sad.

Thanks for that enlightening view man...that had to have been at least a 4th grade intelligence level I will be carrying/towing a lot more than a boat

By the way the ram isn't too slow...like I said...a near 15 quarter isn't shabby for a 4500lb truck.

it's not slow at all, but after driving my tundra as a daily, I do miss the once in a while spirited driving associated with the s2000. It gets boring driving something that isn't fun to rev, isn't fun to corner, and isn't fun brake, something to break the boring routine of everyday life. Good luck with the changes.

thanks man...I already miss the zippy go cart handling...but I know I'll have it back someday... Next time around I'll be prepared to build the car for the track and be able to pull it there with the hemi...a definite bonus since it's hard to take track tires with you in an S (trunk's just not big enough for that lol)

ahh, yes. It sucked driving the s2000 to the track. It's much better to tow it there, fear of damage, breakdown, all relieved by having a trailer and vehicle to avoid getting stranded out there.

Haha that's what I was thinking. BTW, I saw a guy towing a not too small boat with a miata recently.
