why would you want the throw any shorter? C's used to make one, but it was for RHD.

spoon will do a "tranny tune" for you that makes it lots smoother..The best way is to buy a Voodoo **** that drops it quite a bit..

Like Vapor said, there is no reason to get a short throw shifter for our car. Just go for the Ricks Voodoo ****.

or shift as though you'd want the tranny to last, powershifting and quick shifting don't count unless you do that racing and race cars always have a spare parts bin.

The stock one is a really short throw. I can shift much faster than the tranny tends to like with the stock one. Any shorter I think you'd run a pretty good risk of chipping up all your synchros.

As things stand with the stock shifter people will very commonly grind from 1st to 2nd on an aggressive launch.

The Voodoo **** will do a ton to make the shift arm height much more natural and although you can bend the C's shifter to feel correct in a LHD I have seen a number of people sell their kit after a short while because it's not really needed.
