Default fuel pressure question/problem

I've recently noticed something wonky about my fuel pressure. After a long drive (maybe an 1.5 or 2 hours) my teg starts to make this weird whining noise (sounds kind of like alternator whine). My fuel pressure then slowly drops a couple psi at idle and throughout the throttle positions. It stays this way until I turn off the car for a few hours then the fuel pressure goes back up to normal. Now is this something that is normal that I just haven't really noticed before or is something wrong - like my fuel pump is gonna crap out?

Thanks in advance
