ok, i was looking at exhaust components for a naturally aspirated daily driver and this is a combo i came up with:

JDM ITR Headers
JDM ITR Cat 2.5" / Carsound Cat 2.5"
HKS Hi-Power Catback Exhaust 2.17"

Would anyone make any other recommendations as to brands, and or piping dimensions on any of the above said things?

why are you going from 2.5" to 2.17"?

i think you should keep it 2.5" all the way.

 

i want to, but i've found very few nice 2.5" systems.

also, the ITR cat isn't officially 2.5 so i was thinkin maybe goin witha carsound or something.

if you have to, go custom. it all depends on what you have done to the motor though. if you're just a bolt on n/a car... then 2.5" is kind of overkill unless you plan to build any better.

 

ok, if i went 2.36 from cat to exhaust, will that be ok? cuz the ITR cat is only a 2.36 system.

the above are all quality 2.5" exhaut systems

and there are LOTS of good 2.36-2.38" exhaust systems. fujitsubo, spoon, buddy club are to name a few.

 

my biggest fear is that the exhaust will look like it doesn't belong on the car becaus so many out there do. i want somehting that actually looks good with the car and flows with it. not something that hangs down like its not sposed to be there.

 

2.5 is good.
