wait so where exactly do i mount the top hole? so i'm guessing the beaks kit is longer and so it wouldn't match up with the bottom hole leading me drilling another whole below the lower one already predrilled?

You're correct. You utilize the top hole with the beaks kit, drill one on the bottom for the bottom hole.
Redudant sounding, but yeah.
