Not too shabby. What model/shell is it going into?

i'm interested in hearing why you chose that particular shell. a hatchback would theoretically have a better drag coefficient and also has a slightly shorter wheelbase. it would also be easier to get lighter. your thoughts?

Very nice indeed!

I've often wondered where I'd go for engine work here in town... now I know.

Christian, who doesn't have the l00t for an engine build-up... right now

I think the coupe has a better drag coeffient due to the rear window and less surface area in the roof area.

Wheelbases are the same.

Weight will be a little harder to get down, you are right. But I've saved a lot of weight on the brakes.

We'll just have to see.

I dont think you'll have a problem. My 93 Coupe (DX trim), weighed in at 2180 with a a full tank of gas (without me in it), while retaining the sohc engine. Full stock interior except for omp steering wheel, sparco sprint seat, no floor mats (oh no). This was on a full tank of gas, sitting on slipstreams/azenis. No AC or PS, all front fender lining/plastics removed. The 93 coupe's are great on weight in my opinion and much lighter then myths/people seem to think. I could get it wayyy lighter if I wanted too.

Good luck. for a coupe.

Looking strong Dave! Will you have the car out on track before winter for some Seat time?

does that include the coupe also?wasn't sure if it is exactly the same as the sedans.
BTW-kind of surprising to see the ITR has the same wheelbase as the hatch!i figured it'd be closer to theCivic coupe/sedan specs.i'm assuming this includes all 94+ Integras, not just the Type-R.

Sorry, I was thinking of the newer Civic. Here's the list.

90-93 Integra

3dr 4dr
OAL 172.9 176.5
WB 100.4 102.4

94-00 Integra

3dr 4dr
OAL 172.4 178.1
WB 101.2 103.1

92-95 Civic

Hatch 4dr Coupe (93+)
OAL 160.2 173 172.8
WB 101.3 103.2 103.2

96-00 Civic

Hatch 4dr Coupe
OAL 164.5 175.1 175.1
WB 103.2 103.2 103.2

So, yes the 93-95 Coupe has a longer wheelbase, so the car will be more stable when Corey "tries" to bump me.

Just brake check him when he does that.
Note to self ... reinforce rear bumper.
