Default Honda Access pedals or Mugen pedals?

I currently have some Honda Access Pedals and they seem a bit cheaply made. I was looking at the Mugen pedals and wanted some feedback and opinions of them. Would it be a good choice to get the Mugens over the Honda Access Pedals that I already own? My car is a daily driver but will see some track time next year. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If you have Pedals already you will not get a lot more from the Mugen pedals. If you want to spend the money, yeah.....The Mugens are great. The gas pedal is bigger then the Access Pedals and the clutch and brake are grippy...I am pleased!

my Mugens are top notch. I love the grippy feel of the clutch and brake. They are tough to get on, but I like them.

Mugen's are the Best Pedal that I have seen or used, But the Honda Access aren't bad
BTW The Honda Access pedals have been discontinued by Honda.

Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it! I think I may go with the Mugens as they do seem to be much higher quality. May be a bit easier to heel/toe with them too. I am sure that somebody would buy my access pedals too so all is not lost!

Mugen's don't slip.. Their highlight is a very grippy surface.

I have the Access pedals and I have slipped my foot off the clutch twice so far.. A lite soaking of the shoe is a little dangerous when using these pedals..

Nice new avatar!

I just spent $30 on OMP pedals and I love them. They make heel-toe easier (still practicing), the feel is just much better, and they look bad-***. I never had the Mugen so I cannot compare, but I thought about getting them - but what can they do that my pedals are not doing?

Are the Mugen pedals bolt-on (drilling) or bracket install?

so i was just thinking. why not glue a square piece of sandpaper onto the metal of the pedal? same effect...

or you could score the metal with something, like a wire brush or something, that may look better that sandpaper.

But the problem will be the size of the pedals. Take off the cheapo OEM pedal covers and you've got tiny slivers of metal (especially throttle) to work your foot magic with...
