window won't go up

Default window won't go up

help, i need some input on this before i make the purchase today.

97 SE 4dr left hand side (front) window won't go up. It goes down quickly but doesn't want to roll up. Is my regulator fired?

please help

In all cases where I've seen this happen, it's been because the wire used to raise and lower the window has been bound up inside the motor. Unless you feel comfortable enough to rip the door panel apart to remove the motor, take it to a shop.

ill bet $5 its your switch........if the motor can brign it down, its ovbiously not siezing....i had the same problem, and its your switch

I had kind of the same problem, mine would roll up almost to the top and then not go any more. I had a friend of mine he is a machinc, and he took the paneling off and just set it back on track, and tightend something up so it wud fall off

i am having the same problem. it will go down but wont for up. in my case it is the switch. i had to take the switch out to my dads accord to put it back up.

exactly......its your switch, and will run your $120+ from honda.....id suggest finding a 5th gen accord being parted out, and get one while you can

Damn, I have the same problem intermitently. Salvage yard for the switch, definitely. Although it could also that the window came out of it's track.

i'll try to find a used switch at the junk yard.
