h22 head high compression head gasket
i searched this on this site and other sites and even yahoo.
my question is are there any company out there that offers a single layer head gasket or a thinner head gasket for an h22. i was going to get some type s pistons put in my block and i wanted to raise the comp up some more. i know that if i want to put after market pistons in it then i have to sleeve my block but i was wondering if there is a cheaper way besides milling the head.
any info is greatly appraised. thank you.

3 ways... deck the block, mill the head, or get a thinner head gasket. Once you deck the block or mill the head, there is no going back. Everytime you take the head off you have to buy a new head gasket. How much more is the thinner one? Its up to you what you want to do.
yeah i know those ways already but i was wondering if a company makes them (the head gasket). like the single layer head gasket for b-series from mugen and stuff like that. thanks for the info pirate and ranta18.

Incorrect, Spoon made a high compression head gasket for the H22. It might be discontinued, but some vendors still have them. I'm sure that Spoon made them because I have one.
