Default New pic's of my ls/tec.

just took some new pics of my set up after finding out that my valves where bent
so i took some pics while my head was off..I have bin driveing with the bent valves for about 3 months now . and now i know why i ran a shitty 15.2 at palmdale













A b16 head w/portflow valve train,valve job,
CnC drag ported
ferra valves
Type R Loss Motion
head milled 20 under
2 layer head gasket
skunk2 stage 2 cams
AEM Cam Gears,
JDM 4-1 Header W/2.5 collector
Ls bottem end w/p30 pistons,
Itr manifold,
In a 91 Hatch dx w/azens tires 15' in
2 1\2 strait piping all the way back w/ez muffler
b16 s1 tranny
vafc controller

it's around 11.9 or so

yes i do need a new camera. i need to stop putting money in my car then may start buying other stuff. like a real d.camera not my picture phone

I got one too and can tell u not to get ur hopes up

to high there

as i did and couldn't get better then a 14.9 with a similar set up expect mine has JDM ITR pistons and dc sports JDM header

this set up should be in the 13's .. i used to have a b16 with no pnp just ctr cams and some cam gears and i ran a 14.3 . I just don't get it

ya im waiting to get if dynoed befor i got to the track.. theres alot of lag between mid to high rpms i just think its time to go to the dyno and have then hack at it..

You should def. be in the 13's with traction once u get the valves fixed and have it dyno tuned (if u haven't already).

Yep, it is somewhere in the mid 12s (guesstimate)

With the P30s and a headgasket with no head milling it should be 11.7, but milling the head .020 is roughly .6. It should be around 12.3-12.4 with standard compression valves

But it would be around 11.7 --- and I said around there due to small factors, here and there.


And Yes it does look like the head has some Darton sleeves but its the headgasket lay'n on top of the block.

yes it's a ls block with a two layer gasket, that is the second layer your looking at or middle layer (same thing)

And Now the motor is DEAD!! post pic's seen...i know the piston hit the #4 spark plug....the head might me done for...
