VTEC doesnt engage in first until 7000 RPM?

VTEC doesnt engage in first until 7000 RPM?

i dont know whats wrong. this is after its warmed up. it works in 3rd, 4th, and 5th 1st and second are sketchy....any suggestions....i have already searched. thanks in advance.

you need a vtec controller....

whats your speed at 7grand? vtec wont hit till your doing 20 mph, i would think you would be at 20 by 7grand so maybe a bad vss.

yeah check the vss. getting code 17? maybe the cable is fully seated or that clip is loose or gone. also check speedo cable.
