How hard is it to add A/C to a 1998 CX hatch?
find some one that took all that stuff out like me or some one else i think i still have all that stuff except one pipe is bent but let me check. also where are u at
It is not hard at all to add a factory ac system to a civic. I just put a complete ac system out of a 99 civic dx in my 96 civic hatch dx and it was easy and fun at the same time.
All you need to do is take the advice and find someone on here that took there ac off and buy the complete setup. Then just swap yours on, it isn't that hard to figure out. I just looked at another civic and studied the ac system for a while and then layed out everything in my garage and started in on putting it on my car and then it was done, and looks like it came that way from the factory. I had all the stuff to service mine and vacuum it down and check for leaks and then add the refrigerant, but most people don't have all that stuff so you can just take it somewhere to have that done.
