Is there a step in between short block intake and cold air intake?
I am getting the Buddy Club body kit for my 99 Civic, and I am looking for an intake that puts the filter in back of the whole thats in the front peice of that body kit. The regular intake sits just in the engine compartment of course, and the cold air goes into the wheel wheel.....is there something in between? I talked to a guy at Road Warrier and he said cold air intake isnt all that good to get because it can cause big problems when it floods being that low to the ground, plus it only adds like half a horsepower when your in houston wheather conditions. Any suggestions?
that guy dosnt know ****. just ge the cold air intake and when there is lots of rain like in the winter months. make sure you either have a bypass or have a two peice cold air, then make the cold air intake into the a short ram one for winter or rainy weather. or alwasy the 3rd options put your stock intake on for rainy weather.
