Default looking for somewhat to shave molding (using sheetmetal) Northern/central cali or bay

looking for somewhat to shave molding (using sheetmetal) Northern/central cali or bay area. If interested let me know. Please experienced people only and I might be able to get a few cars to do at once so more money can be made for you! I don't like the idea of using bondo.

I did my own but i live in So. Cal. Also your going to need to use Bondo after you weld the sheetmetal. You put bondo going up 6 inches or so to make it flush, but it still works a hell of alot better then putting bondo in the whole, because taht **** cracks. You have to use Kitty Hair and alot of it.

Can you explain more on the 6in thing? I don't quite understand. Plus how long has it been since it's been done? Any cracks or anything?

What i meant by the 6 inches is that when you weld on a piece of metal (20 gauge works great) your going to have to fill it with bondo. Only problem is you just cant fill in the part that you welded you have to move up and up along the door and rear panel (the door is a bitch and you have to go up the highest on). Basically what it is is a thin layer that goes up and up towards the window to level out the door to be smooth like there was no molding there.

I did mine about 6 months ago or so, no cracks or nothing but for mine i did one layer of DuraGlass (fiber glass and bondo mix) to strenghten the first coat. Then the 2nd coat was just normal bondo.

I seen a kids car that i also did one side on where i welded it on for him and gave him the first coat of bondo, then on the other side he used kitty hair. Well let me tell you the kitty hair looks like **** while the weld and bondo looks great. The kitty hair cracked and doesnt look good. But the weld and bondo didnt crack.

Ill take some pics for you of what i did, i didnt finish yet i only went about 4 inches up so i still have a little hump to it but you could see how it came out.

Edit: Heres a picture that i had on my computer, ill take some better ones tomorrow. But you see how i went up the door some, almost all the way up to the handle? Well thats where you need to go to make the door feel like there was no molding.

Also if your wondering about the fender, those fenders use to be Z3s that i welded up and bondoed as well to be normal fenders.
