DON'T touch the taillights!!! The stock tails on the 5 gens are good as they are. The altezza crap they have out there is starting to get a little old.

If you want to run out an spend $200 on a set, be my guest. My advice to you is leave the tails for last if your gonna change em at all. Get some power first, then other body pieces (such as lips or a moderate kit [no shogun, too gay]), then if you still want, throw on some tails. Aftermarket tails (especially altezzas of any kind) scream "I'm a slow and the curious baby!"

Keep the stock ones. Take that $$$ and put it towards something like suspension.

From a quality aspect, oem is better. But most important is having a car the way YOU want it. Whether altezza lights scream "I'm a slow and the curious baby!" to anybody else doesnt have anything to do with whether you should like them or not, unless you are very self-conscious. I have aftermarket tail lights on my 5th gen cuz i was tired of oem, and i really wouldnt give a damn how much i was flamed cuz I AM the one who likes them, simple as that.

Good point, as long as you like your car that's what counts. But they still suck and scream 'trendy'

id have to say OEM... or painted OEM.... just stick with OEM. aftermarket taillights tend to have shitty seals so they fog up and leak water into them... just image all the water that can get in em when you wash ur car... cool fish tank effect

on second thought, although OEM is obviously favored, next generation tail lamp could definetly be an option. These jag style lamps have an OEM look, but imo are much more attractive. you can get a pair of these for $110 from tas autoparts. In fact maybe i should have got these instead lol oh well :\

IMO i would opt for the Jag S type. The fit and finish is good and they look real nice, TYC is the way to go. Just make sure you get the all red with white reverse. It makes the accord look a lot cleaner and newer than the old OEM ones. Thats just my .02 though.

Dont get on a bandwagon, do what pleases you most. Truthfully most guys avoid Euro's cuz it's not whats in style. Its all about personal taste.
