Ok my IACV crapped out on me a long time ago and as a temporary fix I just clogged up one of the holes in the throttle body.....Today I finally put the new IACV on and its time to unclog the hole in the throttle body from back in the day, but I cant seem to get the throttle body off!!! I dont know if I have forgotten what all needs to be done but I cant get the damn thing off!

The motor is a obd1 jdm b18c (gsr) and its in an eg. So far i have taken off all 4bolts that bolt it to the mani, unplugged all hoses and the map sensor...The thing still seems like it is wedged in their pretty good like i forgot a bolt somewhere! I cant find any other bolts and I just cant figure out why this stupid thing isnt coming apart. Any pics or any info at all would be GREATLY appreciated! Im working on the car right now in my driveway and its about to rain so I need this done as soon as possible. Thanks in advance!

 

the 4 bolts are the only thing that holds it onto the intake manifold. The gasket is probably giving you a hard time..you need to slip a putty knife or something thin inbetween the TB and intake mani and pry back slightly ...it should break the seal...and it should pop off
