I am not sure of the rating, however I think that these are rebadged Sparco's or vice versa. Sparco did have race shoes with the Puma emblem on them.

how on god's green earth did you come across this deal?

at any rate, they should be fine, FIA label or not. iirc (and i was wrong last time i quoted the gcr from memory) your shoes dont have to be SFI or FIA labeled. just leather. you are required to have nomex socks.

 

joel is correct. it will suffice fine to pass GCR tech. although "fireproof" is an inappropriate term, theyre just "fire retardant".

Those are like the hi-top version of the tuscany GP's or whatever. I got a pair (of the tuscany's) about a month and a half ago and love them. I've used them in 2 auto-x's and the pedal feel is great! Not to mention you could wear them out if you really wanted too and they wouldn't be too uncomfortable to stand in

 

Yeah, I wore them all day at a car show that I went to, my feet were fine.

These ones are not FIA approved, but, oh well. They serve their purposes for me.

I liked the Oakley shoes, which are FIA approved, but I wasn't gonna spend $228.00 on 'em.

Maybe because they are FIA rated RACING shoes? If they were in a size 10 and a diff color I'd pick up a set.
