Hot or Cold Plugs?
For an all-motor car which spark plugs are better to run, a hotter or a colder spark plug? Just curious b/c I heard so many different answers from ppl! Some say hotter, while others say colder!
Give me some feedback and post what type of plugs you use/recommend and why?

I've had success running colder in my GSR both with a JRSC at 7 psi and with a different set-up all-motor at near 13:1 compression. Ran BKR7E-11's on both set-ups. Copper electrode, 1 step colder that stock GSR plug. Cheap too

I think cold plugs should only be used for force induction. When I squeeze and use cold plugs the car runs great. When I'm not squeezing and just running all-motor, using the cold plugs the car doesn't seem to be pulling as hard compared to regular plugs. That's just my opinion.

high compression n/a, boost, nitrous, all raise cylinder pressures and temperatures just by slightly different means

The heat range of the plug indicates its ablilty to dissipate heat. If you are running high compression, boost, or nitrous, you want a plug that runs colder to suppress detonation. If you do alot of low speed (RPM) driving and aren't looking for maximum performance, use a hotter plug as it will run hot enough to burn off carbon deposits and prevent fouling. A heat range of 4(hot) - 7(cold) is what you want to stick with.
