Default got the mpfi done!! now i need help


i did the mpfi swap used fourthgenhatch's direction's so now whats the next step i have everything done up to the the point of wires goign to the resistor box but i wanna skip that process and run with out the resistor box and just go with the d1 injectors

connect the 2 yellow/black stripe wires from old dpfi injector plugs to the 4 yellow/black stripe wires from the 4 injectors. connect them all together and it works. I just did my swap on Monday, and it runs.

o ok... i get it now... yea you can just solder all the power lines together... and hook each one up..... to the injectors

Originally you would have power from the ECU to the injector resistor. When the power line reaches the resistor box, it spliuts up to 4 seperate resistor circuits. One wire goes to each injector from there.

Since you are going with OBD1 injectors, and if you wanted to, you could splice all the power wires at the injectors and just have one wire coming off at the intake manifold instead of 4.
