Default Type R Wing Holes question, Please help if u can...

I have an 01 LS that was wingless and I put an oem gsr wing on my car. I drilled 2 holes underneath my trunk lip. Underneath the trunk lip there were already 2 small outline circles that I used to drill the holes to screw in my gsr wing.

My question is, are these the same holes the type r wing uses? Also, is the base (bottom) of the type r wing the same deminsions as the gsr wing? I'm askin this bc I recently got my car repainted and the freakin bodyshop got cheap and painted the car without removing my oem gsr wing. Therefore, I have an inprint of the bottom of the gsr wing if I remove the wing. Let me know if you have any information that could help me. Pix would be nice of the holes underneath the trunk lid so I can see for sure. Thanks again.

IIRC, the mounting surface of a GS-R wing is a bit wider than the ITR wing. I believe the GS-R wing needs a 3rd whole drilled on the passenger side of the hatch to route the wires for the LED brake light. ITR wing does not have the LED brake lights, so it doesn't use that hole and the hole is exposed when you put the ITR wing... and I think it has a tiny bit narrower mounting surface. I can check when I get home. Or, I'm sure Matt will chime in.

^ ^ ^ ^

what he said.

The ITR wing and OEM spoiler for the other trim level Integras fit in the same holes.

Only difference being what he said, the hole on the pass. side for the LED wiring, and I dont believe the ITR spoiler has the plastic "stud" that goes into the hatch on the driver's side. But it will fit in the outside 4 holes no problem.
