Default 85mm 13:1 street car

I blew my motor on saturday. so i'm gonna send my block out to get sleeved 85mm with 13:1 pistons to go with my fully built head with Jun 3 cams and my ITR tranny with 4.785 f.d. tell me what you guys think. I'm hoping to put 220+ down.

dont think itll work here bro, geoff at srd couldnt tune a 12:1 cr motor on pump gas. it cali it can be done because the weather is less dry and they have wicked tuners out there. but good luck!

The motor that blew was 13:1. I ran it fully retarted timing on the street on 91 octane and race gas at the track. Why would you say it cant be done?

well it can be done, but for how long? i had ctr pistons that i was going to do with my lsvtec, but with a gsr head without milling it would be like 13.2:1. people in california were barely pulling that off with reliability. im just saying what i was told from people that have done it from around here, like srd. it probably could be done if you were at 10-11 degrees, but whats the point? anyways, good luck and thats what i think.

look into other things as well, such as headers, intake man or itbs, engine management, spark plugs, injectors, clutch, flywheel, and most importantly tuner of the motor ...

ps: 220 is just a number, who's to say it wont be 250 or 200 ? its all combination.
