throttle cable problem in a swap
I have a gsr with stock IM and TB in a 89 HF crx. I had to buy a different cable because the hf cable is short and I look up hasport. They recommend the integra cable (17910-SK7-A03) and I when out to get it at a Acura Dearlership. Then went home to install it and it found out that it was to long. What cable do i need to use?
Thanks-Phil-
wow
I use a 90-93 integra cable for my ITR head on my EF civic
but also the Crx worked but had to mickey mouse it
that is strange one of those two should work
any one else got a gsr stock swap with any answer for this member

Too long is alright, just loop it around something under the hood and hold it in place with zip-ties. I've had my ZC like that since 1998 and it's been fine. On the original Hybrid forum in 97 or 98 I saw a pic of where to run it but it shouldn't matter, just make a loop and secure it in place, just make sure you have no sharp angles.
How much slack is there? When i put a 98 itr throttle cable in my 88 hatch w/b16 it was also too long. I cut out the slack and reconnected the cable with a 10 ga electrical coupling. my crimpers are the ****.
no problems after a year .

I used a 91 Integra throttle cable and bracket I just drilled a hole in the middle of the bracket and bolted it on like that. Any other way and it would have been too long or too short.
