My car has been at the mechs for like 2 days now.. and still havent changed the distributor.. im kinda worried that they're looking into other parts of my car like my LSD tranny (i was told it had one when i got it).. im kinda new in the transmission area.. and this is my first car, and i was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the tranny, and how i can tell if my lsd tranny is still there..

Damn dude, all that for a distributor? Time to buy a manual and get your hands dirty...

 

check the transmission code #1, you'll see it right next to the motor code.

and if the transmission is off the car, you can see straight through the diff, thats a tell tale sign of LSD action.

you can also tell if your front end is up in the air. Spin one of the wheels, if they both spin the same direction, you have an lsd, if they spin in opposite directions, no lsd.
