seeing that my dashboard has cracks and really good wear and discoloration after 16 years.... well i was just wondering if any other dashboard console from any other honda civic (92+) would fit in our crx...
i know i can just swap crx si or jdm dash or from another crx ... but i want to be unique in this rebuild and its a project that i have in mind...
any input or thoughts welcome...

I think you would be unique if you "just swapped" a jdm dash cause you would have done a major coversion by changing to RHD

yeah i did a test fit today with the Integra dash. time to start shaving. The Integra dash isn't as angled as the CRX. Have a look out for my write up.
Well test fitted the Integra dash (94-01 style) and man the things getting in the way are mostly the vents and it also needs to be made rounder. Spent a good 2 hours on it. Shaving a little test fitting, shaving a little more, testing, etc. But it got to late to be making to much noise. all I have to do is trim down one more side and it shoud fit. Then I have to come up with some mounting points. Its some work but it will be down.
keep it up, you'll eventually get the dash in there. just make sure everything lines up correctly. The teg dash swaps I've seen usually have a 1/2 inch gap on either side and there was alota shaving involved
DO it right or DONT DO it at all.....

Yup getting back to work on it right now. Trying to upload pics to Yahoo Photos but that sucks a$$. Will probably have a write up on rewiring and dash install.

Thats true. On the sides where the dash meets the front window there is about an inch of gap (I'll figure out away to hide it) also on the sides (when the door is open on the side) there is also a gap about 1/2 and inch or a little more. Not really sure how I'll hide that, but I'll try.
