I got an engine code 8 after trying to start up my swap of a 92 Acura Integra LS motor into an 89 CRX Si.

I followed the <U>Integra</U> Helms manual to test out the problem areas and they all checked out fine. I reset the ecu, checked the resistance and continuity of everything the manual said to test.

Then the final step was "substitute a known-good ECM and recheck" now if ECM also means ECU then I already tested it in a friends car(93 integra LS) and his car started up and ran perfect.

ANY IDEAS ON WHAT THE PROBLEM IS????????
