where to buy "1 layer" headgasket
i have seen alot of people using 1 layer headgaskets, i was wanting to know where to get one.
i know spoon, and mugen make them but i dont wanna pay 200.00 bux for a headgasket. so where else or who else makes em?

I would guess that its gona be a bitch to have it seal in the long run. just mill the head and run a 3 layer. there are a few big engine builders that dont even recomend running 2 layer gaskets...
I use a single layer headgasket, I have reused it a few times. my car is not a street car.
I think 2 layer should be a minimum on a street car, and its not a good idea to reuse a headgasket.

It's not bad to use if used properly. everyone thinks more is better, thats not the case. A very thin even coating is all thats needed. If overapplied, it will end up pushing into all the passages and make its way down to the oil pan where it will get clogged into the oil pickup...Seen it happen many times.

Man i would think you would have to use the whole can? But i sed it and all my other friends have and no problems as of yet.
