I don't know if .027 inch is considered 1 layer or not; but here you go

OEM baby, pull the copper rivets out with a set of needle nose and use either the top or bottom layer.

i have a re-used two layer headgasket, no problems here, just buy some copper gasket spray from Pep-Boys.

I would guess that its gona be a bitch to have it seal in the long run. just mill the head and run a 3 layer. there are a few big engine builders that dont even recomend running 2 layer gaskets...

I use a single layer headgasket, I have reused it a few times. my car is not a street car.

I think 2 layer should be a minimum on a street car, and its not a good idea to reuse a headgasket.

It's not bad to use if used properly. everyone thinks more is better, thats not the case. A very thin even coating is all thats needed. If overapplied, it will end up pushing into all the passages and make its way down to the oil pan where it will get clogged into the oil pickup...Seen it happen many times.
