My D15b2 tranny is stuck in first gear. I cant shift to 2nd, or 3rd, but it will shift to 4th, and Reverse, but the tranny still thinks its in 1st no matter what what gear I shift to. Can some one please tell me what they think is wrong with my tranny?
Also, another think, I dont hae an intake tube connected to the throttle body, and my car boggs when revving it, but does fine once I get it to like 5000rpms. Anyone know if thats because of the lack of intake tubing?

 

sounds like the shift forks inside the tranny itself may have snapped or the shift lever somehow came loose. Unless you are familiar with rebuilding transmissions the its time to start looking for a replacement.
