2nd gen teg b18A distrubitor squeaks??
my dist, started making a squeaking sound the other day, sounds liek something is grinding or rubbing, im not sure exactly, does anyone know what this may mean?

BE VERY CAREFUL!!! when my first dizzy went out on me, it was squeaking. they told me it was a bearing inside...these Honda dizzy/coils suck ***, id advise you to get ready to possibly replace it! easy DIY job though, but part is $150+

Sounds like a bad bearing to me. IF that is the case don't fix it just replace it. Chances are if the bearing is going then shortly you will experience other problems.

Definately bearing, get a new distributor ASAP. Had the bearing go out on my old CRX motor. After a day it seized up completely and the motor shut off...
