can i use the flange off a stock d series header to make a turbo mani??

No, your stock manifold is cast, you cant hack it off and weld onto it. If you're on a budget they make adapters for hf manifolds for cheap!

i want to make my own equal length turbo mani.. but i dont know what to use for the flange that bolts to the head

that part is quite possibly the cheapest part of building a manifold. they are like 15-20 bucks for mild steel or stainless.

sure you can use a stock SOHC exhaust manifold and modify it to put any size turbo on there check mine out

We sale 3/8 thick mild steel ones and can ship. The time it would take to do the manifold is really worth it. You can also use a cast manifold that is really clean -- your choice. Here's the link

the flanges can be purcashed from camp1320.com has 3/8 flanges

you can get 1/2 from bmcracing.com

for D seriesi belive boosted hybrid is sleilng some in the classifieds. left overs he just wants to sell.
