what aftermarket clutches are you using???
i can finally feel my clutch slipping a bit so its time to upgrade. let me run down my set up, 96 ex 4-door 5-speed, tenzo/HKS intake, royal purple fluids
, just all the little stuff (saving for h22 swap). ive been looking at the competition clutch gravity kit. they claim a 40% torque capacity increase over stock. the kit only runs me about 200 bucks but i wanted to know everyones take on different clutches.

I'm running an exedy organic racing clutch w/ a fidanza 8lb flywheel... nice clutch pretty grippy so far and the pedal feels like stock...
I highly reccomend that combo...

Alot different... alot better actually... the pros far outweigh any negatives..basically the only bad thing I have noticed is that you have to downshift when going up steep hills, that's it... but for the increased revving & revmatching and better acceleration it's a small price to pay... you haven't experienced true revmatching or heel toeing until you've driven with a light flywheel...
If I could only have one mod... that would be it...

i was looking at the competion clutch flywheel also, only 200 bucks through my work, but i cant find any specs on it. anyone familiar with this flywheel? thanks also for your input ZigenBallz, ill check out what kind of deal i can get your setup for since you are pleased with it. i just want to make sure i can still drag the clutch a little bit, ive got a friend with a clutchmasters stage 3 clutch and its like a light switch, no engagement at all. mine is a daily driver and i live in the city so i need something very streetable.
exedy stage 1 organic clutch kit for 175 through my work.. sound like a good deal ZigenBallz???
ps- i am assuming you are refering to their stage 1, correct me if im wrong

also the competion clutch guy/founder used to work for CM, so if you dont like the CM you wont like the competion clutch, its basically the same thing just lowballed!

i don't see anything wrong w/ my CM so far. i only have 80 miles on it, though...
i've seen a couple stories of dis-lodging some springs on the friction disc, but i'm sure that was under some extreme abuse
