does anyone know the valve settings for the 91 b16a? my valves sound like out of sync tapdancers

Hm... assuming you mean the valve clearances, I'm not sure of those on a B16, but a good place to look for info is a helms manual. There also might be some info online, or even in the forum if you search. Is this the original B16 from an XSi teg? Or did you have it swapped?

Here's what they say:
Intake: 0.15 - 0.19 mm (0.006 - 0.007 in)
Exhaust: 0.17 - 0.21 mm (0.007 - 0.008 in)

That sounds right to me, but I do not know the specifics of this engine. Hope that helps.
