evrything is plugged in but when i start the car, it just cranks.. ecu light does not turn on either. would my ecu be burned out or would it be anything else? no power to ecu?

 

First thing to do is check all your fuses.
Try throwing the hf ecu back in and see if the light comes on, fuel pump primes, etc.
If it still doesnt, then your problem is somewhere besides the ecu.

 

i had the same problem it turns out the injectors were gummed up but the good new is hf and b16a injectors are the same so i just swapped them out and it fired right up

 

do you have fuel or spark?

to check you should be able to smell the fuel when you remove a spark plug and try to crank it. also ground the spark plug and check to see if you are getting spark. check, then tell us what you have, then we can proceed further.

actually got the car to start... a ground on the temp housing was not on.. also the timing was off. had the car running for a few mins n it just threw code 22. that was it.. it turned off but now won't start again... it's just keeps cranking but won't turn all the way anymore.. please help...

 

it has fuel n spark though.
