Thats not what you were asking the last 2 times, You said i have X amount of money to spend what should i do? Well frankly No one can answer that cause there are just as many answeres as there are members cause everyone one will have a different opinion.

Now this time its phraized a lot better. Still not the best question to ask cause im sure its been covered in your car b4. search for b16 engine swap and read the results. Honestly i dont know the answer because i dont know what you have now. There are some good write ups about this so do a f%^% SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but that was your proplem before.

Thats rediculous i specifically said what would YOU DO if you have 6000 in the last 2 posts does it matter if i said i might make a decision based on what you posted??? and its still really weird that you cant ask what to do with your civic on a board named simply.... civic.

anyways this is blowing my fooking mind. I have never done an engine swap before. All i know is that it should fit w/o me having to change the mounts. i dont know if im going to have to get **** like an axle or a new hose to connect some ****, i really dont know. I woulda thought this was a question anyone who has done an engine swap could answer especially at a site called Honda tech w/ like 40 million other boards. 2 hours later im still looking IM SO SORRY i just want to know WHAT SHOULD BE EXPECTED. I dont know if i said it already, but i used to search to look for a b18 parts list b16 swap 92 civic all those words in endless different combonations only to come back with nothing. I really dont think my thread wil be open by the time i hit enter but if it is just tell me YES OR NO NOW I COULD CARE LESS HOW MUCH YOU HELP ME... Do i need anything ... ANYTHING AT ALL that was not on my previous engine for my new one????

try "b18c swap" for search. I was thinking of doing the same swap..and i did find a LOT of info on it. Older members here are just tired of answering the same questions over and over....i'd think it would get old real quick...i dont blame them. good luck

Its true that this thread has been covered probably hundreds of times but whatever.... whats done is done.

What you need in addition to the engine swap really depends on what hte swap comes with. Assuming the swap is full block, head, intake, fuel rail, exhausht, tranny, alt, distrib, starter, crank pulley, harness, and ecu. All you would need is some b18 engine mounts, which bolt directly into the D series slots. And then you need axles 94+ model year integra axles, that is all.

Now if you are missing any of those parts you will need those, and any parts that may need to be replaced because of damage, or because the block has been opened up. It all depends on your specific situation.

Additionally you will most likely want to get a new radiator and fuel pump because these two items will not be used to the bigger and more powerful engine.

I hope that clears things up for you, and I hope I didnt forget anything, because I really cant think of anything missing.
Good luck.

You need:
Fulll swap, including: engine, tranny, mounts, shift linkage, axles, wiring harness(B series or adapt your D series), ecu.

Then dont forget all the little things:
engine oil, tranny fluid, coolant, B series radiator hoses, throttle cable, you might need new cotter pins, axle nuts, extra wiring and ecu pins(depending on which swap).

"Older Members" for one are yes getting tired of seeing the same topics day after day by ussually new people who just sign on asking something that has been covered 100 or so times. Especially because they dont use the search function of the site. It just adds countless useless threads to the site while people who have a good question which hasent been covered or cant find an answer from searching get lost in the mess. Ive had a few threads "Lost" in the list in no time mostly by people asking "Which exhust should i get?" the famouse "I have X amount to spend what should i get?" or the famous ***** who'd post a question and then advertise for some screw ball insurance company. The point im trying to make here is if you search you would find your answer, many of people have done what you plan to do, surprisenly your not the first, wont be the last. If you look hard enough i know there are step by step how to's on the subject. It gets agravating when there are so many new people on here day after daywho ask questions that normally can be answered simply by reading one of the first two threads ie. Whats available for my car, or the lets get an archive going and post some good links. On the plus side at least your first post wasent just intoducing yourself those get flamed a hell of a lot more then your getting now and if you think im bad whoa give it time there are people on here with a lot less restraint then me.

You do not have 6000 dollars. You have parents that don't monitor their 14 year olds internet access well enough...

Do some research, go work after school. Save up money, by the time you hit 16 and you get a liscense, you'll be set with your Honda.

Now in all seriousness... just search the word "engine swap" on this forum. Read EVERYTHING YOU CAN POSSIBLY READ and you'll be good.

ok look you have 6000 to spend know what kind of b-18 do you want? there are to many things that you need to decide yet, you will need mounts out of an si or get aftermarkets, i believe you will need linkage, you will need what ever wiring whether you go with obd0 obd1 obd2a obd2b so get the motor figured out and go from there and try searching the archived content and you might not have to post all of the time

How close are you to Beaver county? My boy has an STI he's looking to hook up out there. He goes to school at PITT. He doesn't really know anyone out there, being from Philly. That would be cool if I could send him to you. He's looking to do alot to his car.
