I have a '98 Honda Civic CX hatchback (shell). I plan to swap in a JDM B18C1. I am not familiar with Arizona State motor swap requirements and could not find any info on the Net. I found alot of information regarding California swaps, but nothing for Arizona. The question I have is this:

1) JDM motors don't have VIN #'s. Is it legal to swap JDM motors in AZ?

2) Will I have a problem passing emissions with a JDM swap?

3) What restrictions, if any, does the state of AZ put on motor swaps?

Any info is greatly apreciated. Thanks!

u should call ur state DPS. or DMV... i dunno..

maybe get to know someone that can be lenient with u on the s.i.
