Default engine swap

i have a 1988 honda accord i can't decide to either put a h22 or a b16 or 18 in it. i just want something a hell of alot faster than what i got

Try a b18b and turbo it.

yes, please do more research before you attempt anything.

trying to swap an H22 into an 88 would involve way too much customization, money and headaches.

from what I understand, the easiest of swaps for that car is a JDM B20 from early model preludes, but it's hard to find a motor in good condition.

otherwise, go for a B18. more torque and usable power. with a B16 in that car, you would always have to keep the revs up to feel any difference from the stock A20.
