Default hybid axels Qs

I just found out that b series axels cost $319. Quite a bit less expensive than others. Anyone has any experience with them in a crx w/b16??

I forgot to mention that they are from Raxels...

I was inquiring if someone had any experiences dealing with Raxels or installing their hybrid axels in the crx w/b16...

Raxles are great axles. They are strong and cheaper than most other axles. Plus they are brand new so no core charge. Ask for Marty, nice guy and gives great customer service.

If you are running more than 225 horsepower though I would consider drive shaft shop. More expensive but stronger at higher horsepowers. IMO. Good luck

Next time though try searching. There are tons of posts about raxles.

you can also just get 90-91 teg axles and int. shaft. That works too.

That's what i got now and I don't like it much. The pass side axel is a bit too long and there's not to much of free play. It's not hitting or binding, but It wasy off the specs. Besides, the other axel is a rebuilt pepboys crap and it going bad and the boot is cracking, and I get slight vibration at full throttle at 40mph. I'm pretty sure it's that pepboyz one...

It's a b16 w/jdm ys1-no lsd in 90 rex. HCP mounts

The cheap and non-halfass way to go is to use the 1990-1991 intermediate shaft, 1990-1991 Integra inner joints, and 1986-1989 Integra outer joints and shafts. This provides an OEM Honda perfect fit. And there is no need to remove any seals.

The problem is that by the time i get all of that new it will be more expensive than Raxels, no?

What do you have in there??

My axels are pretty straight. Anyway, they are designed to spin slightly at angle due to sus travel and steering. How little crooked are they?
I get vibration at 40-50mph under load and then it goes away. I'm pretty sure it's due to the bad axel..

In my expierence, if you have a y1 tranny with the y1 intermediate shaft the 90-93 teg axles are not correct. If you wanted to use the teg axles you would have to buy a 90-93 intermediate shaft. If you have a y1 intermediate shaft I recommend you just buy the raxles. You dont have to worry about doing anything but a simple axle swap. 90 minutes top.

I have a y1 and was using 90 integra ls axles and I was getting lots of vibration and messing up my alignment. I bought raxles and when I was swapping them, the raxle axles were like 1/2 inch shorter than the integra axles. Now, I have no more vibration and the front end is real quiet. No problems at all.

I'll get Raxles. I't better this way. I already spent too much money- what's another $350!!
I have jdm ys1 and 90-93 intermediate shaft. The vibrations that I'm getting is from (i think) a bad pep boyz rebuild. It was present in the donor car too after the replacement of

yeah they are a little crooked not too bad but i think its due to me using the y1 intermediate shaft with the 90-93 teg axles, they are only temporary though till i buy some different ones.
