Low Fuel light in Del Sol
Ok i did a search and found many a topics on how to add the light and guage but none that answered my question to my satisfaction so here i go:
I Have a 1995 Del Sol si with the low fuel lamp now, in my old cluster. Worked fine. Now i put in a cluster froma 1993 Del Sol with NO Low fuel lamp. Can i change out the Fuel/Temp Cluster in the pod itself to regain the light? or do i have to swap everything out cause the printed circuit boards on the back arent the same?
Anyone please id really apreciate it!
(Btw- Cause i know someone will ask i switched to the older cluster cause its next to impossible to find that car here locally in the junk yard they go within hrs (whole thing) And my speedo and Tach were messed up so i just replaced the whole thing.)

Am i right in assuming i can just switch out that particular gage in my pod or does the circuit board in the back have to be changed as well?>

Sadly im disapointed no one helped me out here.
but i found out that the clusters circuit board is the same, In the pre 95's you have to cut a hole tho for the light and scrap some of that printing off of the wiring to make a connection with the bulb for it to work. Of course youll also need a gauge with the little fuel spot in it to see the light........

Why did you change your 95 cluster w/ low fuel light for a 93 w/o only to reinstall the fuel light onto the 93 cluster ?
