Okay so I got the conversion formula off http://www.norcalcrx.org/tyson/coilover.html#05 I have the following springs, 200.64.44 and 200.64.58. According to the formula, the springs are 800.250.330 and 800.250.250. So I have 8 inch springs all around, 2.5 inch diameter and spring rates of 330 lbs and 250 lbs? If this is correct, and H-T member needs to give me the correct springs. I asked for spring rates of 350 and 300. PLEASE help me out here.

Great, I just got scammed. The H-T member specifically said that I would be getting the right springs. Now I have to find this guy.
Be careful, there is a difference between a scam and a mistake. If you write a polite letter requesting that the error be corrected then people are willing to help rather than accusing them of trying to rip you off.

Talk to the seller and see if maybe it was a simple error... also, the spring rates that you've got aren't that far off from what you were looking for and should be fine for a basic street/autoX setup. After all when you're ready to upgrade you'll probably end up with rates 2-3 times higher than what you've got right now

Well I emailed him a polite letter, asking him to just swap the springs that he sent me for the correct ones. He emails me back telling me that the front springs are the correct ones and I can send back the rears for the correct ones. Does this sound a little fishy or what. And to top it off, he works for Ground Control. I will not post his screenname up yet, nor call him a scammer yet, unless he decides to push me off to the side. I want to wait until this issue is resolved first.

Yea that is what he told me exactly. I waited about 1 and a half weeks to have him ship me the kit, because he said Eibach had to send us some more 350lb springs. So I trusted him and waited. Then he sent them to me and voila, the kit came with the wrong springs. Many people have vouched for him, and I know he is a good guy but man if I am going to pay for what I wanted to buy, I better get what I expect. Worse comes to worse I will just call Ground Control. If you could help me out slammed_93_hatch, that would be great.

No. It sounds like he is trying to fix the problem.
I would just call them on the phone and tell them you are going to return the springs you have for the correct springs that were requested in the first place. They should also cover the shipping costs as it seems to be their mistake.
I know a lot of people who have purchased parts from Ground Control (myself included) and there have been numerous problems with customer service (again, myself included) but things were always resolved in the end.
In all cases it was never anyone trying to scam or do anything fishy, it always seemed to be a simple lack of communication. Not an excuse for the poor customer service, just the way they seem to do business.

^^^^ Yes but you see he works for Ground Control, but sold the kit as a private seller in the classifeds forum under his own Honda-Tech screenname. Where or how he got the kit from? I do not know, but all I know is if it were Ground Control themselves, it would have been resolved. But you see he probably does not want to let his boss know about htis, otherwise it would look bad on his part in so many ways.

Seems that you walked into the deal knowing that it was a little "odd"...
the way you're presenting it, it appears that you think these parts may have been obtained at a discount or free and that perhaps he shouldn't have been selling them in the first place
Christian, who isn't sure he feels so sorry for the buyer now... then again maybe I'm just jumping to conclusions?

Well he works for a reputable company, it could have been his own set that he was selling. I am not in any way saying that the kit was obtained illegally in any way. All I am saying is that, if you work for Ground Control and you made a mistake of including the wrong springs, just go ahead and take care of it. But it seems this guy does not seem willing to help, correct his mistake nor uphold his reputation as a good seller and Ground Control employee.
