b20b crank into ls???
I dunno if this has been done before or wutever, i havent really looked it up that good, but im curious; will a b20b crank fit in directly into a b18a. I dunno i just thought about doin this but still not sure. i need money and its a bitch paying alot of bills when i wana built my engine already? So right now im just doin research.
they're interchangeable... but you dont want to use used bearings if thats what you're getting at. also, anytime putting a new crank in the motor, gotta check mains for out of alignment and out of round or any taper. cranks and blocks are basically a matching set, so a used crank in a used block can be dangerous. best thing to do is have the block line bored then run an oversized bearing.

Oh I see, yea i was thinking of putting some of those but then i was gonna have to resleeve it and stuff, and then noticed it was gonna be too much of my daily driven. So i might just stick with some 11:0.1 C. pistons with a 83mm bore, and MAYBE a 92mm stroke.(I LIKE TORQUE) But thanks Guy.

why? since you would have to resleeve anyway, might as well go 84, 84.5. Pistons are easier to come by at this size as well, 83mm is a custom job normally. Just my 2 cents

you can punch factory sleeves to 84.5mm. thats all the b20b/z's are. i dont know of even an aftermarket b-crank that is 92mm. the only sizes i've seen are 89mm (b18a/b, b20b/z) and the 95mm (b20/b21a).
