Well we started this project a few weeks ago and it went pretty quickly. Its running now and just needs some tuning. Ill get some updated pics tomorrow.

Specs:
92 vx hb with 250k on chassis
2004 acura rsx type s swap with 1.7 miles on it
Revhard turbo kit for ep3
Hasport mount kit
Hybrid racing conversion harness
Hasport axels
Kpro
Rc 750 cc
Golden Eagle fuel rail
Walbro 255hp
Sx fuel regulator
Earls fittings
Revo Short shifter
Ep3 idler pulley and throttle cable
Chris Alston 8pt cage with swingouts and removable harness bar
Ill add to the list as i remember more.

I would like to thank Nikos from http://www.K20a.org for all of his help and time, we would not have been able to finish ithe car in time with out it.

This motor came from a recycler that got a load of cars that were on the train from the factory being delivered to the dealer. The train was in a wreck and they had to salvage all the cars from the train. It was a major score.

i noticed that turbo piping isnt hooked up in those pics. since those motors are angled backwards was it alot tougher to work on the turbo piping back there? also what axles are you using? cant wait to see some dyno numbers on this baby. This car is superstreet put that motor in a brand new civic si and turbo'd it with a greddy kit i belive and saw 263 at 7 psi. seemed low but it was a greddy (i think)

We had to modifiy the piping some from the ep3 kit. Other then that it went on really easy. The hardest part was getting the piping around the radiator and notching the heck out of the core support. The down pipe has to be modified also. The motor went in really easy. The shifter cables went quickly. It is not that difficult of a swap really as long as you have axcess to tools and the right parts.

We started the install on thursday and had the car running sat afternoon. We had to wait on some parts to come in on friday or we would have been done sooner.

Car looks nice! It looks like the k-series swap leaves plenty of room to clear the firewall. Nice setup.

Thats awesome how vortec magically made the ugly *** darthvader helmet BOV uglier by making it blue, awesome. I'm gonna paint mine pink now.

whats the deal with the fuel line crossing over the motor. doesn't it come out on the correct side to start with?

it's coming out of the filter though. It looks like the factory metal feed line has been massaged over to the drivers side along with the fuel filter, then goes back over to the rail on the pass side. Is the K series fuel rail not oriented the same as a B or D series? fuel in on passanger side, out on drivers side?

We had to relocate the fuel filter to sit on the drivers side shock tower because the fuel filter and filter feed line was going to be really close to the turbo. High heat and fuel is not a good thing. We ended up running the feed line from the filter to the rail along the top of the valve cover and held in place with brackets. We could have changed it some and will probably do so soon, but we wanted to make sure everything is working properly first. Oh and you just have to love the awful vortech bov. The waste gate is really loud on the car being its right there under the turbo up close to the firewall.
