Default just did my timing belt now its not revving past 2000

i did my timing belt this weekend, not to bad of a job besides breaking the crank bolt free, but other then that just turning wrenches. anyways on the first start up the car cranked like normal, idled for about 10 minutes and was on the boggy side but i thought it was bad gas, but after draining the tank and adding fresh gas now it wont rev any higher then 2000 and before the new gas it was revving fine into the 5000s. anyone have any ideas of what it could be??

pretty sure your timing is off. Recheck it and make sure u look at the timing marks straight on and not at an angle.

you sure you got timing set right? it may be that hte cam timing is pretty far off, specially if it seems really boggy.

Just pull off your valve cover and check the timing marks to start with.

you already have the moutns and harnesses you need, the ones you use for the f22 work fine for the h22, just need to add a few wires for vtec.

You may want to check and see if the crank possitioning sensor is on right.

Line the two marks on the cam pulley so they are even with the head surface. And the white mark on the flywheel should line up with the pointer at the same time.

I'm changing timing belts, water pump, etc. on my son's 92 Accord. Best time saving investment was in the crank pulley tool. Needed it today and a local store was able to get it within 2 hours. I really lucked out after reading about it today! I am 4 hours into it and have to get the water pump out next. Can't work on it until Saturday so all advice will be appreciated.
