Test-Only Center Smog Check!?!?!
so i got in the mail the other day that i have to re-register my car and i have to get it smogged. i knew it was coming up so i was expecting it. i wasn't expecting it to say that i have i to get it checked at a test-only smog center. i have a 99 ek coupe with a obd-1 b18c and by no means will it pass smog. i live in cali which blows when it comes to smog and my question is wat can i do about this? is there anything at all or am i totally just fucked!? i have connections to smog shops where i can get it smogged if i want to but i dont think at a test-only center. any suggestions or comments would be helpful!!!!
why not try to get the car reffed by the referee so you dont have to take out the motor, hopefully you'll pass if you try it. But if you fail looks like you would have to swap back the old motor hopefully you still have if.
i already looked into gettin it bar'd, but i cant because my motor is a 94 b18c and my car is a 99, and the motor has to be newer than the car.

Pay someone off (very hard to do at a smog only) or swap back to stock.
